Agreed..  500 was an "okay" price but definitely not a steal..  It would cost you min another £200 to get it to just a nice rider condition, and that would be with leaving most of the components on the bike and spending time trying to get them presentable..

Personally, I would have not hit the BIN button..

Still, its going to be a fun project for someone and, hopefully they are in RAD..!!

I'd pay 500 notes for it, considering the value of the f/f alone nowadays which seem to holding good money with those parts etc.. its worth 500, good enough to wipe over and ride

agreed i think it was clever pricing not ridiculously dear but not cheap either as said by the time you restored it it would have cost you a lot but clean it up whack some new grips and tyres on and not a fortune for a fairly well specced survivor

i think its worth £500 pounds every day.  just look at the parts its got on it. like an original gt mallet stem. shimano pedals.  full mx brake set. original tuff 11 alloy hubbed wheels.  the thing is everything on this bike is from the correct era.  so you dont need to trawl through rad, bmx museum, or ebay looking for all the bits. like you would if you bought a frame and forks.  and you know its original. not some taiwan copy crap. ok so the bike needs a lot of work. but that is the challenge. i have read many a thread on here about restoring parts. and i have seen the pics before and thought, bloody take a genius to make that look like new again.  then i have seen the restored pics and have been amazed.  all the answers to restore this haro back to a show standard are on here. you just have to ask.  well im hoping they are. as i bought it!!   ;D
