Let start with Completed Bike Ad...
"Preeda BMX" a local brand made in Thailand which designed by "Preeda Chulamonthon"
the Thailand's greatest cyclist who won four gold and two silver medals at the 1966 Asian Games in Bangkok.
Last year he died of kidney failure when he was 64 years old.
Moreover it was my first bike that my dad bought for me.
NOS f&f of my friend's collection.
Follow with another two local brands "Pioneer" and Pheasant" which was big name at that time.
"Pioneer SX"
"Pioneer AERO"
"Pheasant Streamline"
"Pheasant TRX Cromoly"

Move to Frame & Fork Ad.
Without copyright law at that time, some local brands used popular BMX names
"GT"
"Oakley"
"Skyway"

However some shops here imported f&f and parts from USA and Japan to serve upper market's custonmers, surely it excluded me.
"PK Ripper" from USA
5,000 Thai Baht (100.00 GBP) for frame & fork, seatpost, handlebar and pad sets
"Tange Hot Heart" from Japan
"Skyway TA" from USA
4,900 Thai Baht (98.00 GBP) for frame & fork
"Cinelli" from Italy
4,900 Thai Baht (98.00 GBP) for frame & fork
"Racergoose" from USA

Before we move to Ad of BMX parts, let me show another import brand from Japan "KLM".
I believe TANGE produced frame sets for KLM with TANGE's fork.
At that time one bike shop was KLM dealer and ordered 20" BMX frame sets of
"KLM Aero", "KLM Cr-Mo 80" and "KLM Super High-tension 50" directly from Japan.
"KLM Aero"
"KLM Cr-Mo 80"
They also ordered "KLM Cr-Mo 80" in 24" completed bike.

Some Ad of import BMX parts from both USA and Japan.
ACS Products
ACS Z rims test & review by our local BMX magazine.
Haro number plates (150 Thai Baht per plate = 3.00 GBP).
Shimano DX cranks (1,250 Thai Baht per set = 25.00 GBP).
Sugino one piece cranks (675 Thai Baht per set = 13.50 GBP) &
Sugino maxy-cross cranks (730 Thai Baht per set = 14.60 GBP).

Same as local brand's frame sets, we had few local brands produced BMX parts in Thailand to serve our boys who could not pay for import brands.
"COBRA" produced both their own Tuffwheel and Z rims by copy design of Skyway.

For our big local brand "Pioneer", they produced many BMX parts under their own name althought almost of them copied design of import brands.
"Pioneer grips"
"Pioneer cranks"
"Pioneer brake caliper"
"Pioneer hubs"
"Pioneer fork"

Let me finish my topic with Ad of few bike shops at that time.
"Cycle Shop"
"Goody Shop"
"Thanakom"
Below pic of Thanakom bike shop is my most preferred one.
If I had a time machine, I'd go back to this shop and buy everything in this pic to build my house wall like this.
Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! It's just a dream...
Many thanks again for all comments. / Thanit from Thailand
