In October 1980, the first BMX Monthly Magazine in Thai was issued.
It called "Jak-ka-yan" in Thai which means bicycle in English. Below was the pic of the ist Issue.
Throughly 4-5 years later, we had three BMX Monthly Magazines called "Jak-ka-yan", "Super BMX" and "Bicycle". See few pics below.

Yeah, can we have a new rule for the pit bike race at MK this year - flip-flops only as footware? ;-)

Great photos and history!
I must say I did chuckle at this one, especially with Borat laying down being bunny hopped over

At that time, BMX racing in Thailand normally classed riders depend on calculation of weight & height
to be 4 classes like "Small", "Medium", "Large" and "Open".
This guy, his name "Weerayuth", was the Thailand Chaimpionship in "Open" class
for period of 5 consecutive years after Yutthana who was the Champion in 79/80.
His last nice shot above was selected to be logo of our osbmx-thailand website.

Below pic is my most favor shot.
This guy is one of my best friend now, his racing name was "Ped Merida".
He was one of the best in "Small" and "Medium" class.
His current pic (took last year)...
