just wondered anyone tried this? do they work with v brakes?

they do, but not great when I tried it. there didn't seem to be enough spring back in the lever

Got a disc on the front and V brake on the rear of old MTB that I converted to single speed. I used Tech 77 levers and they work just perfect. As for the V brakes, undo the bolt holding them to the mounts, lift a bit to pull out spring, move it round a hole and replace. Best done with the wheel off. Makes the V brake more aggressive and springs back better  :daumenhoch:
