Meteor Lite forks
« on: May 17, 2006, 01:38 PM »
Just found a set, any good or are they on a one way trip to the skip. They're rusty but could be good for someone who needs 'em.
They have built in rubbery plasticy type pegs.

What bike are they (Meteor Lite) from originally?, they look a little like landing gear forks in that they have a big slopeybit at the bottom of the fork by the dropout. I'll give 'em a clean tonight, post a pic and bow to your superior fork wisdom.

they were on meteor lites originally, but for some reason there was an abundance of them left over.
my brother bought some in 1996, and rode with them for a fair few years

They will indeed need a repaint and a blast as the chrome is pretty much gone around the inside of the forks.

£5 to whoever wants 'em, sturdy fookers tho', the rubber caps screw off to reveal shiny chrome. Will include the caps at no extra cost ;) Battery is really low on the camera when I took these just now hence the bad focus.
