Author Topic: Got my boys new bikes (Read 2361 times)

I was out riding with my boys last week and realised they were too big for their 16" wheeled BMXs and it was time to move up to 18". I got them on Thursday and we went out for the first ride today. Lovin it. Cant wait to get them to a skatepark or track now.

Thanks to Stodgy at RADshop for his help and advice with what to get.

Gabe is 7 and Beau is 6. They started on 14" bikes when they were 3 and 4, then had 16" for a few years. These should last them a few years, and then its 20" for life! haha

Those bikes are so cool, chrome forks and bars and flat black paint!........they were flat black out of the box weren't they? the boys haven't bene riding them through fire already have they?

The bikes are totally stock, they are spot on. (I didnt put on the side pull front brake that they come with).

Yesterday we went to a track and there were loads of big puddles.
When we got home they showed their mum the dirty bikes and said "We've made them look MEAN!"

Just got this built up for My Daughter, She's away staying with Her Nanna at the moment so hasn't seen it yet, My camera makes it look Blue but it's a bright Turquoise/Black Fit 18

Im hoping to get out with my boys tomorrow for pedal. Either a small local skatepark or a little BMX track. I'll try to get some pics.

Yeah the colour is cool, it's like a Teal but when light gets on it it pops into a brighter Greeny/Blue. She prefered the Black version when I showed Her a picture of both a while ago, said it looked mean

couldn't find One anywhere though. I like the little details on it like the tapered seat stays and the scaled down FAF tyres
