Built a rider thats too nice to ride lol
« on: May 01, 2011, 10:42 PM »
I got the frame off here and thought I could use my spares to build it, then I thought id like to build it with red parts so I searched for red parts. The bike was going to be a rider but it might have just passed the stage were its too good to ride lol

Pics to follow

It came to me with Kuwahara decals on it, but it looked grubby and I thought I could polish it up. So the decals came off and I set about cleaning the frame up it had rust around the joins etc

Polished frame

Decals to go on

time to build it

To me it doesn't matter how much money i spend or how many NOS parts go into my builds, i wouldn't think twice about riding it.

just depends on how mad you intend to go on it, i wouldn't purposely throw it down the street though ;)
If there's air in the tyres... it's a rider

For the love of god man, get it ridden, even if it's a "sunday best" rider! I finally rode my latest build off a couple of quarterpipes on saturday and crashed it a few times too but loved every minute and discovered my new favourite rider! You have to ride them as you'll never know how good or not they are!

Sorry, I'll get my coat now.... ;-)
Still limping......
