its in pitstone which is a little place near tring. the roll in had two places to start from and the fast roll in was ridiculous and made it impossible to hold on when you hit the little tight transition we made, the slower roll in was better for trying flips, i nearly had it round a couple of times but the jump still isnt very steep compared to a dirt jump. i reckon i could do it on dirt

Sorry pete, didn't think of letting you know. Next time I will. We need to build on it so it's not such a tight transition, then hopefully its less likely to ping you off. There's been a jump there since last years effort. We made it bigger though, I guess we'll keep adding to it everytime we go.

Anyway, Drive past tring train station with it on your right, then do the first left. When you come to a roundabout park on the grass on the right and walk into the woods. As you walk through the trees the quarry will just appear, it's a pretty amazing place.

dunno, deep enough. the first 6 foot of water is shallow then it drops away. i heard rumours that in the middle its super deep like 100 foot or something. probably rubbish but it is a doug out quarry so who knows. anyway, where you land from our jump the depth isnt an issue! you up for a sesh next time its on?

a couple of times i was wrapping my arms over my head as soon as i hit water, i was the bald one in skinny denim shorts, i was trying flips and when it went wrong the bike gets sent skywards!

Holy Molly... just had another look, can't believe I said yes....

Last time I did a jump in front of you joe... I had to go out and buy a new skid lid (spilt it straight accross the back)

yeah but snowboarding is what i do, i rarely ride a bmx. you'll be fine. we talked a random fat kid into doing it. he was just passing with a bunch of mates and some beers and we told him he'd have legendary status amongst his peers if he did it. fairplay to him, no other randoms tried it all day, quite a few passed us but all were like "fook that, you lot are nutters"!!

whats wrong with kids today? they'll only get dangerous if its on a games console?!?
