did anyone on here win the profile frame yesterday?i was at work so missed it,it only went for about £120,looked a really nice survivor too??

i went to look at it last week as it was 5mins from my house. the condition was a lot worse than the blurry pics showed.

chrome had flaked in quite a few areas. very scratched and dropouts were rather squashed so I decided against making him an offer.

funnily enough it was actually a mate of mines frame from BITD and not bought in the USA by the seller as he stated.

the seller didnt mention that it was in a poor state,fooker!! i reckon tho a strip and rechrome(if you can find a decent chromer!) or a powder coat and youd have had yourself a bargain.didnt you think about buying it marc?

No forks with it.

Unless you have a spare set just lying about, i really don't see the point in buying just a frame.
I think this is one of the reasons it sold cheap.

thought about it but couldn't be arsed with tidying it up. it would have need dechrome to have been finished decent

the lad and his brother were actually pretty sound. I dont think he was trying to fleece anyone. just a bit niave with his listing as he didnt use ebay and had listed it on his brothers account

at that price tho who needs forks,id gladly sit on it and then pay £600 for a set of profile forks when they eventually come up
