AKISUTangeStratton Aero bike Resto finished
« on: February 18, 2011, 06:40 AM »
Thought I was getting a Haro... ended up with this... but you have to play the hand you get dealt don't ya  :daumenhoch:

...so got stuck in... dug out a load of parts... brought a couple... and here she is

Was going to go for a Skyway decal set with a twist... and change the 'Totally Aerodynamic' to 'Partially Aerodynamic'

but something else has come up so I'm 'doing a Robbo' ( offical RADBMX Slang ) and selling it  :)

I had fun doing it and I'm gonna get my uncle ( Hi Steve :-) ) on the lookout for more wheel B'harrows for me  ::)

doesn't your girl want it any more Ed?

shame as it's a lovely bike, if I had space I'd be making an offer for it - would like a nice lightweight bike to take on the local track this summer...

There will be a thread called 'People on RAD who I will buy a beer at MK11 but pi$$ in it first"

That will be at least 3 pages...

Thanks for the comments gents  :) a thread a day keeps the doctor away ( but not Glen  :buck2: )

Joff - I didn't in the end as it supposed to be a bike for my eldest so she wanted to choose the colour. We went to Halfords and she took the grips and chose a paint she thought was closest ... it was Ford Riviera Blue - thanks for the help though dude  :)

John - need some funds to pay for NOS 91 Green Bashguard Sport  :smitten: - currently in the US - trying not to get mugged bringing it over  :knuppel2:

Griffette - no extra sauce thanks  :-X
