My custom S&M ATF [part one]
« on: January 14, 2011, 04:09 PM »
I finally did what I always wanted to do and, after striking up a good rapport with Moeller, got me a custom frame.
I had it done in translucent CIDER [ esp for me. Like Hoder's Translucent coors Beer but Darker and Dirtier.
anyway - I had this ATF done with a taller Dirtbike sized standover, and with a higher BB/slightly longer rear end, and with permanent brake mounts. This was basically to make it feel like my 21" S&M made Metal rebel Contender but a bit longer...
I took some pics before I shove 4 pegs on there as I love the look of the female axles...

Hope you enjoy the pics - highlights in the parts for me are G Sport Ratchet / Marmoset hubs on my old fave Demolition Zero smoke chrome rims [ Alex Leech loves these rims]
Primo Hollowbites with Titanium axle
Profile Mullville stem
Fly / Suelo brakes
WTP Lock Stock bars disguised as S&M [ I like the 10deg backsweep of these bars and theyre not too huge, and Berringers which are similar to Berringer's but Berringer's  have a wee bit too much upsweep for me]
Odyssey forks.
and other small parts from other companies.

I hope you like it!
Oh... and part two of this instalment after the weekend...

Very nice, changing my frame to an ATF soon, no factory custom build for me though just a run of the mill plebs version

Steve, that looks great. Its not "gold", its more like its rusty .... but clean and shiney. Very cool.
F-in LOVE the frame stamp. That is just TOOOO Cool!

If Im overly honest, I dont like the seat stay brake. The high standover (and bent fly arms) make the cable routing even worse than normal.  :-X

Thats a small point tho, and other than thats its very very nice.

Alex youre right, I put the wrong brake on there - I meant to put my straight Suelo brake on, but got carried away. I hate weird cable angles on the back, however Im loathe to now change it as right now the brake is working SO well!
Part two of this thread doesnt have this problem - pics etc after the weekend!
By the way - I cant wait to get a decent camera and a decent location to shoot pics of my bike!
