evening radsters

got an old saddle on my mtb in the shed - its leather is knackered but otherwise in good nick, rails are titanium so no corrosion!
I bought it cheap off someone at work years ago but didn't really want to chuck it away as it's so light

anyone know where i might be able to get it redone?

cheers

cheers glen - will have another look (am sure mrs griff must have an old handbag somewhere)

the funny thing is what i can see of it underneath the leather/padding looks like an uncomfortable plastic bmx seat  :LolLolLolLol:

I think dannywhiteley did a nice recover job recently ??? ???
Didn't he have to man-up and go a buy himself a handbag from Tesco for it ;D

I guess Impact adhesive would be the stuff to use :daumenhoch:

I'm sure there is a thread on this in the Tech Stickies section, Mark J and Steve P have both recovered leather/suede Kashimaxs and posted step by step guides  :daumenhoch:

I've covered a few seats and it's a simple job with time and patience ... Evo Stik Impact Adhesive is the best glue for the job  :daumenhoch:

I'm due to start another soon so I'll take a few step-by-step photos and post them up when complete  :coolsmiley:

Hey Griff, have covered quite a lot of stuff but mostly in vinyl.I've always used spray glue for carpet (griperod do a good one) which is available at most diy shops.Watch out for overspray as its hard to clean up.Either a hot air gun or hair dryer is also handy so you can stretch the material easily  :daumenhoch:
