heat up bolts with a blowtorch then quench in old engine oil  :daumenhoch:
or buy new ones :LolLolLolLol:

Ah okay! It's not for stem bolts but I'm interested in the method, as I might try it on something else  :daumenhoch:

aint it some sort of bluing kit :-\ pm kuwahero im sure he was selling  one a whiles back, its prob gone but he would be able to advise im sure :daumenhoch:

yeah you can use gun blue and there are commercially available blacking kits ,although these are quite expensive
a metal finishers will do it but they charge a minimum of about £35

Do a search on the net for Frost...............they do gear for restoring cars and they do the chemicals needed to do this  :daumenhoch:
