how do i go about this,i havent got the foggiest!!ive got a set of forks which im going to strip off the paint this weekend then i want them polished good enough to have chromed(i dont trust the chromers to get in to all of the fiddly bits!!)ive been on gay bay looking at dremel attatchments,is this what i need?'mops and polish??is it easy??if its too much hassle for an amateur then i will send them off to be polished ,any help apreciated chaps:daumenhoch:

You could go through the grades of wet n dry and use metal polish (hand job(!)) to get in the fiddley bits if you don't want to spend on a dremel.

id pm del and ask his advise mark, he polished his mrd prior to a rechrome and it looked near enough chrome  :daumenhoch:

I personally would go by hand to avoid digging into the metal and marking it, but that's just my preference!

The finish they usually work to is a surface taken back with 1000 grit paper, just to give an idea dude.
