i was just asking as i'm after some white tyres but, for me, a tyre must have a skin/tan wall... thats why i don't like the new school tyres.

they did come up good though when cleaned 'em... was it a jif job?

They are the tyres that it came with in the original photo........they are LHR Freestyle tyres.

Not sure if they are any good but as they came up nice and white once I'd finished with cleaning them then
I thought I'd keep em.

No not Jif pal....
I first soaked them in the bath overnight with a bit of cheap bleach from ASDA.
Then I made a paste out of washing powder and a bit of water (think it was Bold....) and used a scrubbing brush  for a while.
Rinsed them off and hey presto.....nice white tyres again. Got to say I was impressed how well they came up....just look at the
state of them in the first picture!  :daumenhoch:

Thanks mate......A silverfox resto? mmmmm sounds interesting. Anyone got a F+F? ::)
Cheers for all your comments. No real digs, just constructive criticism on a couple of points which has been appreciated as a newbie.

Glad you approve Sam......your loft has been an inspiration!
I'm sure you could sell tickets for a guided tour up there........anyone who needs any encouragement to do a resto project check Sams loft pictures out!
(I've had the priveledge of going up there....god its amazing!!!)  :daumenhoch:
