My new 1978 Team Jag
« on: March 23, 2010, 05:12 AM »
I bought it for the fork (See original build pic below.), but fell in love with the color, so I decided to build it with spare parts. I'm digging it, but the stem sure does jack the bars up awful high.

Frame: Team Jag (OG Buttermilk Sand paint with OG stickers)
Fork: Roger DeCoster (OG nickel with OG stickers, undrilled)
Handlebars: Pro Neck alloy
Grips: A'me Tri
Stem: Mongoose Gold Stem
Headset: Tange
Cranks: Shimano Dura-Ace 170 with Shimano 40T chainring
BB: Shimano Dura-Ace/Tange
Pedals: KKT Rat Traps
Chain: HKK Smoker
Seatpost: Chromoly
Saddle: Mongoose Kashimax MX
Wheels: Araya 7Cs, vintage butted spokes front/NOS Union 14g rear Shimano DX Cassette hubs, 14T cog
Tires: 20 x 2.125 Carlisle MX, 20 x 1.75 Cycle Pro Snake Belly
Freewheel: N/A
Brakes: Shimano Tourney caliper, Shimano cable, Shimano cable clamps, Dia-Compe brake lever with rubber sleeve, Kool Stop pads
Seatclamp: Xcaliber
Other: Rad Pad handlebar pad, Forty Four 16 custom handmade number plate (And it's SWEET.)

And before. . .
