24" Comp 3's on Ebay

Was trying to win a pair of Kenda Gumwall Comp 3's for my Azusa Cruiser build on ebay last night.  Stupidly i ended up bidding on my phone in screwfix carpark desperately trying to get a bid in time.  Managed  to place my bid in time but got outbid by £1.  Anyone on here win them? and wishing to make a fast (but miniscule) profit please get in touch 



So.... any thoughts on Black Tioga comp 3's on this? and while i'm about it, what are your thoughts on seats and post, should i go chrome seat post and seat with guts or not neccesary and go with something newer like this?

Skin wall comp III's will keep the OS /retro feel nicely, blackwalls may be 'to black' with those rims.

Seat wise, a nice Elina lightening bolt would be cool

Try Mark at retrospect, I had a set of 24"x1.75's Skinwall Tiogas off him last year, he might have some left or know where some might be?

You need to find some skinwalls, they look much better.



I'll be riding this to work occasionally so I've got the skinwalls off at the moment for all black tyres. However the skinwals will be going on the new 24" Azusa when it arrives.

I got some from Porkchop Bmx in the states.  Proper skinwall comp 3 and only $15 each.

Cheers guys, i reckon your right

I've just had a reply from 'porkchop' about postage on a pair of skinwalls and a straight 'guts' type post.

Initially i was a bit put off by £12 for the tyre and an extra £25 to post each as in the listing but its only a little more for the pair and the post so i reckon i'll do that and look out for a reasonably priced used blue kashi aero seat or bid on the Elina Flyte Tech on ebay now, i'll give the NOS red with blue lightning bolt in Thailand a miss at £267.71

Quick update.

Spoke to Retrospect, he has comp3's and snakebellys but only in blue unfortunately and for me, once you've had black an all that .  Now bought a pair of Skinwalls and a straight chrome post from Porkchopzz.

So for a seat.... wondering if anyone has bought from Japandeco on ebay - remake kashimax aero for just under £50, good deal?  I kinda think the remakes of old school stuff suits the bike better anway.
