Yup:

Autosol is normally a tube like tootpaste - In a black & gold box

Peek is in a Silver Tin - Like a big hip flask or Brasso tin

Halfords, B&Q or any DIY, car shop or iron mongers should sell it.

Peek isn't the same thing, it does a similar job but Autosol is an abrasive paste whereas Peek is a non-abrasive liquid.

got mine from halfords. careful with it if you are using it on chrome as you dont realise how abrasive this stuff is and can very easily polish the chrome off and leave gold nickel plate patches. i find brasso or silvo better for chrome as less chance of this happening. autosol is fantastic for polishing alloy though :daumenhoch:

Anyone tried 'Astonish'?

I'm resto-ing a Halfords Turbo and a rusty 531 Reynolds layback, both with those rusty flecks you get, and the results have been superb so far, leaves it shiny once you dry it off with a yellow cloth/duster. Use the product with water though.

Have been cleaning a stem and has the same effect as autosol where the cloth and your fingers go black!

Peek can be bought on eBay for less than a fiver posted.  That Autoglym metal polish is very good but that is about £5 a tube which is half the size of a tube of Peek.
