PMC cnc washers - What are they for!

Been sent some "PMC cnc washers".

Excuse me for being thick  but does any one know what they are used for?

Are they worth anything, not sure if I need them!

depending in size, im guessing they are for hubs, go between nut n drop out. ive got some purple ones, not worth a great deal i'm afraid as they are late 80's early 90's, good nick coloured ones at a guess £8ish for 4? depends on demand i'd say
