The Pork came out in '97 (I think) & had a 20" toptube, 6061 alloy at around 5 3/4lbs or 4130 cromoly which came in at nearly 10lbs! The later alloy frames had steel inserts in the headtube, One way of telling whether it's an early frame. Ask Harris for some pics, He has One I owned years ago  :daumenhoch:

I look forward to seeing the frame, I will more than likely be selling it on, will see if there are any bits of use to me for the standard and part the rest out I reckon. I have to be strong, I dont like selling things.

Picked this up today, I agree the looks of the frame are questionable, I quite like it but I have no use for it, so will be up for sale tomorrow. Also came with 4 Alex rims laced to a couple of gsport hubs and a couple of unknown hubs, profile 3 pieces, profile chainring, 2 hip forks and 2 hip stem, plus few other bits. Keeping a pair of the wheels for the standard and the rest I think will be on here tomorrow

I'll get pics up tomorrow for sure, I need to sell most of it to get cash back that I paid for it! Just had another look, the stem is weird, its engraved with something and is angled funny, kinda points down at a funny angle, fella saidit was a 2hip one. Bars are 4 piece 2 hip ones, and seat is a primo hemaroid I think, in a sparkly finish lol
wheels are all alex supra rims, 2 unknown hubs and 2 gsport ones, i think a g sport rear will make it onto my STA, always liked those hubs.
Any clue what the frame would be worth, looks pretty straight bar the dropouts being a bit bashed

I was told the bars and stem are 2hip yeah, the frame is a piggy for sure. If I didnt have the standard I think I would build it up, I rather like it! Sadly I have neither the space or the money to hold on to it.

Just had a look, cranks are profiles, just removed them and you can see the profile stanp down the arm after all, just under paint! - £40 if anyone fancies them?!

They look to be, I dont think they have had loads of use. The bike came with another set of cranks in the profile box, so dont think they were on it long.

Ian,
that picture is amazing, how long ago was that??.. 1st gen odyssey 41therm forks,  haro turbine freecoaster, macneil ruban bars.. and my own gyro setup before anyone else did it! haha

I loved 2hip porks, 5lbs, short  & nippy, if a little weak?.. well for my temper anyhow..

had 3 of them all told, cracked headtube on the 1st, which a mate had welded and then proceeded to remove the headtube at kidlington trails, 2nd I snapped at the seat tube bb joint.. 3rd I sold on when I moved onto a standard 250L
ugly as hell tho....
