im thinking of selling a few bits and buying some 36h profile mini hubs
are they still a great hub or any issues cropped up.

I've not used the mini hubs but i've got a 10 year old pair of the old style ones and they are as smooth as ever!

I think they are a bit shit, the main point of having them is just being a flash git. They're not very strong in the front - compared to say a Marmoset and the cassette is nothing really special. They are pretty though.

do they break alot then ,only wanted some ubber good hubs that would last me and profile stuffs usually long lasting
just with new stuff they can make them too light and then busts ,so was seeing if they had issues.

My eldest son has been hammering, and I mean putting them through their paces if you've seen him jump, his Profile hubs for the last three years and the bearings are as good now as they were when bought. He has however just shagged out the titanium driver's teeth to the point where he has split two half-link chains, literally!! A replacement driver has been sourced direct from Profile through GROOVE Racing and it's all back together again for more punishment at The-Track @ Portreath in the next couple of weeks

Worth every penny in my opinion. Humps

They'll be fine for you Harris, I was asking the same question myself t'other week. I was told that they're a little weak if you're a meathead, but on race bikes, cruisers and for blokes like us they're just fine

If you get one that doesn't have the infamous "profile wobble" you'll be ok. My one has a wobble. I hate it. Even Put extra shims in there to eliminate it but no such luck.

They look nice, sound nice though. I'm gonna get a proper cassette.

iv had no problems with mine and they look amazing and i dont fink iv ever heard anything bad about the profile hub either
also u can change the colour of the sheel on it so if u get bored u kan have a new colour without having to buy a new hub
