What bike was he riding there? Soon after that he used to come over my way riding a DP freestyler with a U-brake jubilee clipped onto the chainstays ... till the loose end of the clip slashed his leg open!

Well he is 34 now so I guess that makes him 18 in the pic.
He truly is one of the greats and such a nice Guy.
Mat Hoffman told Pete that Jerry was one of his all time favorite riders
It dont get much better than that.

I've not seen Jerry for about 15 years. Last time I saw him he was sporting Ceramic Rabbit tee's trying to air the most dodgiest 1/4 pipe ever in my back garden.

Can anyone tell me where he hangs out these days? Would be good to meet up with him again.

Trev, Gerry was riding with Pete "Quadrophenia", Stodgy, Fuzzynod, Me and a few others until the barn incident but rest assured he'll more than likely be out and about again soon. Have a look through some of the posts in the video section, there is some recent footage of him in there.

no he has 2 brakes, the only person i remember being brakeless back then was greg guilotte

I saw Gerry at Southsea and was truly blown away by his style and tricks...Plus he wore a flat cap and at the time it looked super smooth...

go on my son... Mike
