Dia Compe caliper restoration
« on: May 24, 2017, 08:16 PM »
I have had this pair of MX900's for a while, originally for a Raleigh Aero Pro but now for my Kuwahara Laserlite. They came to me in pretty good condition, a few knocks and scrapes, and in raw finish. I have anodised them myself, fitted nos adjusters and fitted new quick release levers. The rest of the hardware is original after going through a citric acid bath and then into light oil.
I am very happy with the results, they do not look over restored, just right. :daumenhoch:
