No its an overdrive and the later 3 hole version is the overdrive lite. Tuffneck did a 5 hole sprocket that looks like your reversed sprocket.

Yeah I always liked the tufneck version but could never find one. I got this from local bike shop years ago, they had it priced wrong!

i know why i thought the gt overdrive was called a buzzsaw

backyard have them listed as a buzzsaw chainring in their 95 ad

i know some people will say youre wrong to put em on an 85 frame but i had parts i swapped around for years bitd

It was the GT Power Series from about 86 if my memory is correct $:-\$
