One last thought. Every now and again I read threads about discourtesy, bullying, rudeness, etc, but once a comment has been made, you cannot simply wipe it out of ones mind, pretend it never happened or erase it like a misspelt word. Maybe members would be wiser and bolder to think beforehand before they start typing because the lasting implications against the forum and the individual it's aimed at could leave an imprint long-term. Whereas some can take comments on the chin, others are less fortunate.

I'll start off by saying I am sorry for your loss Mark and I know what you are going through mate ,lost my dad several years ago now and it does get easier mate but you have to remain positive for your family and hold on to all them happy memories that's what gets you through I will also say that all the times I have met you,you have always been polite and courteous and very knowledgeable and can honestly say one of the best people I've met through the old school bmx scene-take care mate and hope to chat to you soon,Paul

We've never met bud but have had the occasional chat & dealings on Rad.You're a gent & one of the nicest,honest people i've spoken too or dealt with on here.Sorry to hear about your dad & the closing of your site but as noted,you gotta do what's right for you mate.....clear the static & concentrate on what's important.

Like so many others have said, sorry for your loss Mark and it's a shame your closing the site but understandably your priorities are now very different.
You'll be missed on the scene as your knowledge on all things DB was simply second to none, all the best with your future.

Sad to see the site go too 
I was a member on there since 2008 was my 1st bmx forum
As never had any intrest in other brands as i owned a silverstreak back in 82
Used to be a mod on there  for a few years, to be fair very little work as 99% of the members
Were sound as a pound . & db of the month too ...
The little work i done i even found it time consuming at times .
Took a backseat for a while done me good . Lost the love happens to everyone at some stage !!
will miss the site for info , friends , spec & great threads .
As mark says never say never ?
A break is as good as a rest .
Not sure i can do that face book thing as tried to avoid it all these years 
But never say never ....
