Was chrome definitely a factory finish for tech 3 / MX?  Everything looks shiny to me........
You always need a cheese option......

Yes chrome was a Dia-Compe option, most items I've seen have had some degree of pitting/blistering through age. If it's spanking be weary that it's not just a regular one that's been blinged up on the polishing wheel.

Cheers Steve.  Funnily enough it's the fact that they're not overly blingy that got me thinking.  They have sort of mellowed to a nice patina so to speak. 

Best pick up some chrome levers to match.......
