BMX Storage ????????
« on: March 23, 2013, 10:03 AM »
Ok i got in to this hobby just to re build my old bike & as part of my ever extending mid life crisis.

My collection has grown but unfortunately my house has not & as i'm going self employed next month the chances of getting another mortgage & moving to a bigger place are less than slim.

What was a spare room- studio is now a bike store, I love my bikes but i also love my decks & would like to have a spin once & a while but my arms are not long enough to reach my Vinyl ! The garage isn't water tight & to be honest i don't want to keep the bikes outside in a garage anyway.

So, i was wondering if any of you guys use a a storage company such as safe-store or that (big yellow) storage company & if so what are their rates like & would you recommend them ??????

I would spend the money developing your house or garage rather than wasting it on storage

you need some clever storage solutions - are they hanging from the ceilings and on the walls yet? Frees up floor space for more builds and it can look awesome too..  ;)

My old garage was pants ! It was an asbestos jobby. Cold wet n smelly. So being an ex-builder a decided to sort it out last  year.
Now it's bigger taller wider and more importantly insulated. There's room for all my gear,  bikes, parts, building materials and tools.
. Just not got the time to get in there now  :LolLolLolLol:

I would advise getting a couple of semi-retired builders in an get yourself a cool new man cave  for the right price 8)
