REPRO DIA COMPE MX1000 CALIPER QUESTION ???
« on: October 14, 2012, 12:12 PM »
Just went to fit this on the retro pk rippers landing gear forks and the bolt isn't quite long enough to accommodate both curved washers, the flat washer and the nylock nut :-\
even if I leave out the flat washer there is not enough thread to get the nut on  :-\
anyone else had any problems  :-\

Fitting a racing-bike style recessed nut is an option - it also looks cleaner than having a locknut at the rear of the forks.  This does involve drilling the rear brake hole out to 8mm so isn't really worth doing to something brand new like a TA 24 XL etc.   :daumenhoch:
