Freestyle hot spots in Essex and London.
« on: June 28, 2010, 10:23 AM »
About 20 something years ago me and my buddys took a little wonder around London. We were looking for all the old 70s Skateparks and if they were still rideable.
We rode Catelowes  as it was(now has been re-made) Some skatepark in some rough part of London, it was right on the corner of a busy street only surounded by a waist hight brick wall. Half pipe at Mile end, meanwhile 1 and 2(meanwhile 1 is now a new Skatepark like catelowes) Small halpipe at King cross. You have Rom, Harrow and southbank for some surefire Airs,Jumping and street rideing. But i really loved digging out all the old Skateparks in London everyone had forgotten about. It was like you had found treasure.
Do we have any lists of these places ? It would help and maybe we could hook up to ride these places.
 A London RadBMX Day.

You could just put 'trees what a do ride past and then up'  >:D

He's up the road near Upton I believe. Which would make it Ben Manuals indoor park he'd be riding these days.
