A couple of the blokes on ozbmx have had it done and the work is spot on, pm quicksilverbmx (Reece) he has a cracking example!

Are you looking to buy a rattle can & do it yourself or powder coat & pay some one? I did quite abit of research when I did my ET. When I say research I mean walking into every car parts place in Bristol with a photo of an original bike & hold it up next to the red cans  :)

This from motorman seemed closest, the bike is on the wall in the lounge so everyday i look at it & wonder if it should be slightly lighter or slightly darker, either way I cant decide which prob means its about right!  :D

Hope that helps.... then just worry about getting the red-white fade right!

thanks for that guys , imm lookin to spray it myself  :) regarding the white fade shouldent be that hard as i remember spraying my wings on my capri bitd, and the overspray on the lights looked about the same :LolLolLolLol:

my mate just bought a frame and forks off marc  "kuwahero"  there was some orignal paint on the top of the forks , so i took it into work and we came up with a close match of  ..... ROUGE LUCIFER     paint refrence code of  PEU-EKQ     hope this helps

paint shop mate , i work in a paint factors we put shit like this in cans for people , so a good paint shop yeahhhhhhhhhh

in work if joe public walk in they get charged £12.00 for a 400ml can with amazing fan aerosol  top off         hope this helps

This is always a nightmare because to do it right you need some original paint in the flesh. Photo's don't really cut it. The paint looked like it had been powdered on. It was also metalic and that doesn't show up in hardly any original photo's you see. Interested to see the hunt progress. :coolsmiley:
