So, how easy is it to convert a chrome frame to a powder coated frame ?
Would the powder coatig company be able to take a chrome frame and do the buisnesss ?
-
should do, I have a powdered frame coming that was chrome and I want it back to chrome
-
My powdercoater does all preparation of the frame before powder. Whether it is chrome or paint, it makes no difference to him, he media blasts it to give the frame a key.
-
powder coaters usually blast the frame regardless bafore hand unless it is completly bare metal, chromed or painted its all part of the job
-
My T/A was originally chrome.

That looks perfect
How much does it roughly cost to get the frame and forks done from chrome ?
-
mine cost me £25 to have it dipped to remove all chrome
then £30 to have it powdercoated white :)
