Title: chrome to paint

So, how easy is it to convert a chrome frame to a powder coated frame ?

Would the powder coatig company be able to take a chrome frame and do the buisnesss ?

should do, I have a powdered frame coming that was chrome and I want it back to chrome

My powdercoater does all preparation of the frame before powder.  Whether it is chrome or paint, it makes no difference to him, he media blasts it to give the frame a key.

powder coaters usually blast the frame regardless bafore hand unless it is completly bare metal, chromed or painted its all part of the job

My T/A was originally chrome.

How much does it roughly cost to get the frame and forks done from chrome ?

mine cost me £25 to have it dipped to remove all chrome
then £30 to have it powdercoated white  :)
