they take a modern day family and relive the 80,s as we did
last weeks show was the 70,s the house was decorated ,the clothes bike ie choppers ,toys ect,etc
so tonight show will show all the toys we had ,bmx skateboard , in the 80,s
one not to be missed
hope this is of some help , feedback later to see what your thoughts are???????????????

Deffo recommend, watched last weeks set in 70s :4_17_5:
Each day the family live a different year throughout the decade (ie so Monday was 1971, Tuesday 1972 etc) and they get delivered new tech items at the doorstep the year they were introduced (ie goblin teasmaid ;D )
Last week was funny to see kids with no mobile phones, no colour telly, no computer until about 1976/7 with pong, no microwave, no washer/dryer, no central heating, power cuts to reflect the 70s. Some of the hi fi equipment was cool later that decade and everyone sat together as a family (the good ole days ::) )
Yeah 80's gonna be a corker considering the toys....ZX80!

SHOULD BE COOL THE YEAR FOR BMX AND BREAKDANCE CANT WAIT :LolLolLolLol:

Really enjoyed that, thanks for the tip off :)
I remember going to the local video store and being a betamax family choices where pretty limited, the guy that owned the shop gave me exciting posters of the newest VHS horror/sleaze films that where technologically way out of my reach :-[

Not a BMX in sight who would have thought that :2gunsfiring_v1:
maybe the title of 'electric' dreams was the reason for that?? ;D
-
Watched last weeks episode on the i-player and enjoyed it!
I'll catch up on last nights tonight hopefully :daumenhoch:
-
watched last nights show with me lady, wow what a flash back, we spent the whole programme (i guess like everyone) pointing at the telly shouting "i remember that". Great show, shame there were no bmx's though. :daumenhoch:

Well, they were all riding around on Raleigh Choppers in the previous episode set in the '80's.
So I dont think it was that much to expect !!
-
I got a BBC Master computer and a wooden cased piano key betamax video in the loft - not going to be posting pics tho as they are well packed away, i thought the beeb would make a nice case mod for a modern pc
-
cant believe they mentioned the choppers in the 70,s
not a sniff of a bmx in the 80.s
surely the bmx was the biggest selling toy back then :4_17_5:
-
Great program - enjoyed the 70's one last week - space hopper and sodastream were the highlights :LolLolLolLol: choppers were cool too ;)
80's show was ace - speccies, commodores and BBC's ace 8) walkmans, nintendo game n watch too (shame they didn't have the clamshell donkey kong one though ::) ) speak n spell was cool too :coolsmiley:
loved the bit were the daughter tried to put the betamax into the VHS player and the brother explaining it was like blueray / dvd format difference :LolLolLolLol:
90's next - rave one 8)
