Title: suntour freewheel abit stiff

Take it off the hub & spray wd40 or similar through it, or soak it in petrol, see what it spins like then. If it's ok spray in some fresh lube, wipe off the excess & you're sorted  :daumenhoch:

I had a new one like that, it had surface rust in the bearings and sounded all grindy. I just sprayed it with GT85 and ran it, sounds sweet as a nut now.

you flush whatever grease was in there out like that...  its a short term fix but basically yeah its on the way out....

depends if you fancy opening it up and re-greasing it - a real faff job and be careful not to lose the ball bearings....

 :) Best thing is to flush out all the crap/grease with GT85 or WD40.Heat up some grease in an old pan until it starts to liquify,then drop the freewheel in/pour over it-voila 1 clean/regreased freewheel...
