Title: TA on ebay?
Post by: jonpaul11 on February 16, 2006, 10:57 PM
Is this a TA? Am I right in thinking the rear drop outs look wrong?

it's real, the drop-outs are unstamped

Haven't looked at the TA but I have some unstamped TA forks which according to Skyway are quite rare. I have never seen an unstamped frame though. There were a few small later runs Skyway made with solid drop outs. They experimented with options to make the fork/frame stronger. The final conclusion was to heat treat the forks with the lightning slot. Unstamped was not only the best looking, but the strongest as well.
