Hi all...
I usually run with Coaster brakes on my old geese, but have decided to finally break my mold and fit a rear brake to my 1980 frame...
I have purchased a non era specific Dia compe 901 set which has a much longer fitment than required, i fear if i fit it then it will foul the frame, or will need so many penny washers it will look ridiculous?
am i being stupid here? should i have purchased a different setup, can i just change the guts of the brake onto a shorter bar so that it fits?
Advice please guys...

OK after running through the pics in the museum i have realised my mistake... (stupidity)
I need a grommit to push the brake out further from the frame...
Can i use anything else other than a specific brake part? Just wondering where i might get just the grommit??? Any one got one going spare?

You can use the cooling fins from a Skyway Pro Pad< I have some somewhere, but since I moved house a month ago, I'm not sure where they are :(
