Title: Wonky decals

If u had a NOS F&F and some of the original decals were out of line or wonky  ::) would u leave them alone or replace them ?

It'd drive me insane but id try to leave them original as long as i could bare it.

At lot of GT stuff was wonky BITD, especially bars & seatposts...I used to look at them and think what were they thinking in the factory.

I worked in a bike shop BITD (GT dealers) & noticed this quite a lot  :daumenhoch:


As above it would bug me......my GT bars are the same, but originallity counts ????....I have a sticker set, which I will proberly use  :uglystupid2:  :2funny:

I think i would leave it as long as i could, but i think i would have to do something about it eventually. Before i did i would try and find some original decals.  ???

That's if I kept the frame  long enough :D

i had a repro kuwi kz  for a while with wonky decals,they must have been put on by a blind man and his one armed helper!!!it bugged the crap out of me so i replaced with better ones!! :daumenhoch:

Not driving me mad but close  :-\ think like u say leave alone I recon been like that 4 25 years after all just wondered what peoples thoughts were .  ;)

Just replaces my frame sticker as I took it off BITD, left the bar sticker as it was original.....

I would just leave them as they are. Original and wonky's good.

here's my wonky donkey....the one on the bar cross brace is to far to the left, and it wrinkled  :tickedoff:....GT factory quality for you ..

....also fitted some false comp 3's, so I can skid without feeling like Im sinning on my originals  ;D

Have a (NOS) Minty MRD F&F and the fork decals have been put on the fork legs a good inch out in height  :LolLolLolLol: also frame decals have white back ground and fork decals are clear . I love  :smitten: it as it is . Best left b I think 4 prosperity  :daumenhoch:

Id find a nos decal set and replace them properly, nos frames and stuff are hard to come by now so it has to be treated properly  :daumenhoch:
