I thought I'd share some pics of a bike I put together today.
This is the bike I spent most of my waking hours riding. The parts are nothing special but the bike has HUGE sentimental value to me. Some of the parts are not era correct, thats because I was always breaking parts and nothing stayed the same for long. Some parts emmigrated to my Supergoose when I got that in late 81. The rear tire is a dragster cheng shin from my sisters bike lol. I rode ramps and skateparks a fair bit so it was the only "freestyle" tire around. The pedals I need to replace with KKT alloys and I have to find a DX lever too. Grips will be AME Tri's. I had a comp II on the front but That'll have to wait also.
Stickers are VBMX jobs.
I know it's no big dollar build but it means more to me than any NOS build.
Frame is a may 1977 motomag and I'm the second owner.
Thanks
Glenn

Nice one mate. It's nice to see a bike with a story, they mean so much more. I restored my childhood bike late last year, its so much more than just another build and is the one bike I would never part with.
