Title: brake lever question

I have a Odyssey A brake, do I have to use a V brake lever, or will a lever for U brakes be OK. Cant find a red brake lever, SE have one on there Retro ripper. Could get one from the states but it's to expensive. I have a tektro lever here I could use from a U brake set?

You need a v brake lever and shimano used to do the DX lever in red  :daumenhoch:
