Right then :D cant find a strait seat post, ideally a renthal one >:( . So what i am thinking is to get a nice shiny LB post and cut the fu....r down to get what i want :-\ . Can this be done and have enough post left to do what its meant to do. then i can replace when i find what i want. What do peeps think or am i being impatient ::) .
cheers all steve :daumenhoch:

I've done if before with no problems . . . but then I've even been known to cut down old steel riser bars to make layback posts ;)

I think i will hold out for a bit to see if any one comes up with a strait one ::)

As you can see in the pic below mate the straight posts from renthal came in short and long versions and i reckon a chopped layback one would be about the same size as a shorty in this pic. Try removing the decal (heat it with a hair dryer and peel off might work ?) so you can re-apply after chopping (probably be too high up after chopping) or see Del to knock up a newun ;)

Ive been after a straight Renthal for ages - there was one on the bay a few weeks ago but I missed out to someone on here!! Good on them.
Also considered getting a LB and chopping it but dont think I can bring myself to hack it up. Let me know if you find a missing box of them somewhere..... :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
