OK guys!
First bike of 2006 finished.
It's a pre serial number Hutch Expert Racer.
Just need to replace the pedals with some shimano DX ones. I've a nice pair in blue, little scratched, but need to polish them and i'm not in the mood to do that right now.
So, just for the photo's I used some Mongoose pedals that look like DX......

NOS part list: polished arary rims, Comp III tyres, copy Pro Neck stem, DC MX 1000 chrome with Shimano SX lever, DC hinged seatpost clamp chrome, some seatpost with Hutch decal, Kashimax MX seat, Suntour nuts,Cycle Pro headset, first generation Hutch pads, a'me round grips, zeronine plate.
Used (but good condition) part list: Suzue sealed hubs chrome, GT bars (need some others GT and Hutch don't go together normally), Shimano DX crank polished, Shimano chainwheel, Sachs chrome chain.
So, put your comment down, positive and negative!
Just need to find Expert seatstay decals and a decal for the seattube (like they came on the hubs too!).

I think those pedals looks ok...they match with everything else

looks good ,keep the yellow pads on it make it look more old skool and not a redone bike if you get what i mean :)
-
It's amazing the difference that a set of pads makes. Good looking build there. Good job you didn't go for the Black and Gold Ultra Burner build that my mate Mr Rusty did. ;D ;D ;D
-
Very very nice fella - keep the chrome pads...sweet as a nut!

My idea to use the yellow first gen. pads was to have something different then most Hutch bikes :D
But the chrome pads look better yes..........

Nice bike Johan, like the yellow pads too, but since you polished a dx, i think the silver are more in tune.
