Title: Quick question guys
Post by: Torker pro-x on October 26, 2008, 08:15 PM
Just got hold of some forks for my Torker, not sure of the make but they are defo 1" thread. When the headset Is on should there be any thread showing at the top of the forks above the locking nut ie 5 mm? Or Is the tube too long? Thanks In advance :daumenhoch:

You need a little spacer mate, or you could use a 1.2" washer  :daumenhoch:

are the forks 4" or 5"  :-\ i believe that torker did both and maybe you have some 5" ones and you are fitting them to a 4" headtube  ::)

I'm usually wrong on most BMX related topics  :2funny:

They measure just under 6" from the base were the bearing sits to the top of the thread, or just under 4" to were the thread starts, hope this makes sense!!  :yahoo_silent: :daumenhoch:

I would say that they are for a 5" headtube , Measure your headtube and if its 4" i reckon you have the wrong size forks  :-\

Its a Pro -x with 4" top tube. Will they be ok to use with an extra locknut on?  :daumenhoch:
