Title: Dating an AD 990

I know these have been around for ages so how do you date them
i have a few and there looks like the normal date stamp on the rear
but it doesn't say a year  like say MX1000 and 1020's
any idea's

Don't normally date AD990's, I try to make it a rule to only date women.  ;)

the numbers that are in a circle usually refers to the date,or did.

I've got one here that came off a complete bike that came out in 88. And the numbers in the centre of the circles say 87, so like Dan says that should be it...
