Mine isn't ready yet but here's a few of my older cruisers.
My Old GT Cruiser, still one of my favourite bikes, I sold it twice and can't remember who I sold it to last. Would love to buy it back. :(

My Azusa Cruiser. Very Rare and again wish I hadn't sold it. Are we seeing a pattern here folks. :LolLolLolLol:

It's already been done mate, we didn't have one at the time so we made do with a spare front i think. I did have a wanted thing up but we bought an odossesy one from Pijin BMX in southampton as they were only £3ish anyway.
Many thanks for looking out for him anyway. :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

whats the better to ride on the road , the om or the stove ?

whats the better to ride on the road , the om or the stove ?
Since having the OM, I've done about 80-100 miles on a mixture of road and 'off-road' and I love the way it rides. After today's 10 miles or so in shitty weather/conditions, it's confirmed to me that the bb, freewheel and headset aren't really up to the job so they'll be replaced soon along with the pedals and stem.
I haven't ridden the Charge enough tbh and can't remember what it was like. I do remember the cranks kept coming loose? I keep meaning to take it for an outing so I can decide whether I'm going to keep it or sell it. I'll make sure I do a 20 miler this week and post back here.

My old faithful 98 Standard cruiser....covered in MK :smitten:
-
I looked in the garage yesterday and found this: My mid to late 90's Redline 444 that, despite what the pictures show, has original everything down to the rock hard grips. The only deviation is Redline race fork instead of the Monster ones which weighed as much as the frame!
For sale soon as I have this instead.....
My FA limo race bike with Sunn forks. This is so light and rides really well, the only "odd" thing on it would be the 145mm Profiles. Very spinny but no torque, guess the reason they are so short and a pair of flush bolts will be sent your way. Those of you that know why already, Sshhh.
I will keep looking because I'm sure there are more cruisers around here somewhere.

i got two now
this is my Azusa retro build
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/v603/kdw712/AZUSA%20016/pb-DSCF1889.jpg)
and this is my 1990 free agent pro
nicked some bits (ok most ! ;) ) from this for the Azusa so its currently just a F&F
first build
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/v603/kdw712/free%20agent/IMG_2393.jpg)
then traded for the chrome wheel set

Heres another: recent OM Flyer off of ebay as F&F. Awful respray so it will be stripped, maybe polished or may be powder coat. Either way, it will need new stickers. If anyone has a set of retro OM stickers for sale or to copy I would be grateful.
May race this next season.
And I found this in the lounge: 1978 S&S Headers cruiser. Just back from the powder coaters, this is as near to how the bike was back in 1982. Frame, rims, bars, stem, crank, saddle, post and brake are all original. Forks, grips, tyres, hubs, pedals, spokes, etc are NOS. Just needs stickers to finish. This is a goal fulfilled.

Nice pics Torker the Midlands. Cool to see something unusual and rare (never heard of Steve Watson - other than the Newcy and Everton footballer who used to do somersault throw-ins).
Those forks in the first pic look really skinny. Did they last (or is the answer in the third pic as it looks like different/stronger forks in that pic).
-
Mike,
I think your right about the forks! I only noticed it myself as i was posting though, not got a clue what forks i put on it or why?, it was a nice bike though. Steve Watson raced 35+ at the greyhound stadium for a while and made various family members frames. I bought it from him when he packed up i think. This is the only other Cruiser he made i think
Bunneys NBMXA EM regional 86. Rob Males on a Hutch + Jason Mellors on a Steve Watson + name escapes me on a Floval

You don't need a front brake on that Matt , unless you're gonna put a basket on the front and collect the groceries on it :LolLolLolLol:

I there a link between the Azuza and JMC? because those frames look alike, even the shield is familier?
-
Azuza are a retro company..They remade classic frame and forks from the likes of SE and JMC, hence the similar decals..It's all a nod to those historical designs, using modern geometry etc...

and it should be noted that it was done with the approval of both JMC and SE.

Azusas were made in very limited numbers by Supercross, as was the Skunkworks Quad and the Nomorea. I think the forks were JMC AP and Bottema knock offs.
...or something along those lines ;D

Saw this unusual beast at Herne Bay last night. Anyone want to guess what it is?? Humps

Looks like a Jad, but never seen one like that before.

You're spot on Mike it is a Jad but it's had two bars welded into the original frame. Weighs in at a whopping 31 lbs, well it would with half a scaffold tube on it, but has hydraulic brake and this one had Technique cranks and a Chris King headset. Bit of a throw together but very funtional. The owner is registered on here so it'll be interesting if he spots this and fills in the story for us. Humps
-
It was the 2 extra tubes that threw me.
Carbon forks and alloy cranks and it still weighs 31lbs :uglystupid2:

nice bike mark and what bars are those as they look nice and high
-
They're Boss Cruiser bars, they're not as high as they look but do have a bigger rise than most cruiser bars I've seen.
