Title: Tuff Neck Stem Bolts Question
Post by: kuwahero on June 01, 2008, 07:58 PM
Hey Guys

Can anyone tell me what thread these are. ie Metric, UNC, UNF as the originals are screwed. I tried some from my Suntour stem but there not quite right.
I have some from a Group One stem that seem to fit although a little tight. I dont want to force them and strip threads, the heads are a fraction too big to fit the recesses in the top plate too

Any help greatfully received

Thanks Marc :daumenhoch:

They still use imperial in the US, so something like 1/4 I would say.

I think the Suntour would probably be 6mm.

Thanks guys

i'll try some UNC bolts then. typical I bought some by accident, a while back, for a Group 1 stem which were wrong. So I sold them :Aresehole:
