Title: PEREGRINE BUILD - FINISHED
Post by: Del on April 07, 2008, 04:21 PM: This has taken a few months to source parts and after half building it once I decided the first frame I got was no good had to find another... So this came up on ebay about a few days later whist I was still sulking! what luck!

I tried to recreate the Expert in the '87/88 Magazine Adverts

I'm not a great fan of the blue so opted to go "Candy" Blue (transluscent to the anal among you), obviously no decal sets are available so I had to recreate a set or 3, I did 3 runs of them until I was happy.

In the meantime all the Peregrine parts were being sourced..

the hardest from my point of view were getting the right levers, but I got some Peregrine One-Stops on the ebay bike but they were completely scratched/chipped so set about restoring them, stripped, filled, re-painted and hardware replaced or cleaned up and new logo's applied then laquered.. they look great!
