Right guys a new thing starting this month!
Can't wait for MK08? Bike of the year too far away?
Well we are proud to announce a new competition 'Bike of the Month'!
This gives you the opportunity to show off those builds without having to wait for MK08 or for Bike of the Year.
Running from Feb through to Nov, each of the 10 monthly winners will automatically go forward to the 'Bike of the Year' in December, together with everyones normal entries.
Voting will take place in the first week of the following month (so March's bike of the month will be voted for in the first week of April) and there will be a prize for each months winner.
So, what are you waiting for let's see those builds - old or mid school only please - let's see what you've been crafting, restoring and spending your money on!
-
So normally with bike of the year you can only enter 1 bike , if you won bike of the month could you enter another bike in bike of the year as an incentive not to keep builds hidden away until MK ? just a thought.

You can enter as many bikes as you like in Bike of the Month.
If any of your bikes win Bike of the Month and thereby go forward to Bike of the Year, you will also be allowed to enter another.
Nobody panic!

some great bikes on here, but just one question:
are the entries for each month supposed to be finished being built in the month of entry?
not knocking any of the bikes/builders currently entered but if you are sitting on a collection of mint builds already you can just pull one out and enter if for "Bike of the Month".
I know on burnerworld where they run a similar comp that you are supposed to finish your build in the month of entry, and I sometimes think that rule needs tightening up to stop someone just swapping the grips and entering it as "just finished"

Although this was rushed to be entered into the rad bike of the year, it has been upgraded some what... new pads... DC cables / seat post, custom flight / kashi decals which I only received a few days back. Anyways, just a bit of fun for me... although I do agree that it should be for bikes completed within the month of competition.

To clarify, the bikes need to new builds, never before seen on radbmx. Preferably built in the same month, but we could never police this.
It's just a bit of fun, don't take it all too seriously.
