Guys, I run standard Haro pegs on the Sport 06 re-issue, I would like to know if there are lighter types such as Odyssey, Macneil, Terrible?
I am trying to reduce the weight of the bike. Cheers
-
i would say.
just about any pegs are lighter than haro ones.
the ones that came on my 05 mirra were like scaffold tubes...lol

i run a set of eastern ramp pegs and a set of standard industrial lites, 400 grams a pair, only 40g heavier than some ti pegs and about 200g lighter that the ones you have, wont break the bank like ti either, about 16 quid for a pair!

Thanks guys, I thought the pegs were heavy. Gonna get new one fitted soon. Cheers.

I run a set of Tree Lite alloy pegs, fine for park use, come in at 195g for the pair. Do cost £20 each though.
-
I'm running a set of Hoffman SPC Aluminium Pegs here without the Optional Plastic Sleeves...
Weighing in at 155g for the pair.
Retail at £14 for two, although they're maybe a bit delicate for peg bonks and the like, but generally okay for park use.

Cheers again lads. Spoilt for choice now. :D
Gonna see what my local BMX shop has in stock, I think they will have Hoffman.
What about DB ones from Halfords – are they hefty? ???
Cheers

Brands to look for are Eastern, Odyssey, Shadow Conspiracy, etc. The DB ones are similar to what you already have.
