i started out on a team murray, only got vague memorie of it now though :LolLolLolLol:

similar to the ones in the museum, i'd know it if i saw it :daumenhoch:

possibly one of THE only old school rides i'd actually own,

nice to see them being remembered and collected :daumenhoch:

Unfortunately it's not the one I had as a kid. That one broke, and got skipped, long ago. Me and me sister had one each, but I sold hers  ;D

Funny how I spent the whole time I had it, trying to break it, so I could have something else, and now despite it's turdish leanings, it's one of my faves, and probably one of the rarest, due to them having all been chucked away, or busted.

Man that was a heavy old creature  ;D

Checkout the REDLINE sticker on the downtube. Wonder if it fooled anyone, apart from the bodyless dog in the background  ???

Had a big wave of nostalgia wash over me when I opened up the box though. Really brought back some, childhood memories  :)

nice to be spotted in the museum
i've had this murray in the build pipline for a while now

i bought it from a local lad i know he was trying to sell me a mk1 burner, gold one,not a burner expert, and i've got 3 mk1's dont want no more (you have to diversify your collection)
but he had this murray and with original padset i thought yeah love it.

after building up my early huffy and seeing how basic but great it was.this was gong to be a good build i thought.

never had a cool bmx as a kid.
i had a diatron wild cat,an early bmx from america.heavy as hell,so that perhaps why im now going for the early ones?

thanks for spotting it and the comments,

tjj

Mine was all chrome with the black mags, weighed a ton, and i think my dad bought it from a peugeot garage ... I slowly bled my dad dry in changing all the parts then finally persuaded him i needed a GT f+f

Gota admit i thought it was the dogs bollox when i first had it, but soon grew to hate it lol
