Title: DIA COMPE FS880 onto Haro Master forks
Post by: adeshere on October 16, 2005, 06:18 PM
Hi,

Just gone to put my new FS880 caliper onto my haro master forks, and the bolt only just reaches. If i out hte half circle spacer thing on, then the bolt wont be long enough for the nut to go on.

Anyone else had this problem and came up with a solution ?

Adrian

sure you aint got a rear?

track down a cheap front brake (a bulldog maybe) and use the big bolt out of that

if you cant sort it pm me your address and i will post you one!!!

Most bike shops will sell you the center bolt you need.

Think you might be able to use a 'recess bolt'. I remember having the same problem with a Nippon caliper (I think).
