Title: dying grips????

can it be done?
ive managed to get hold of some NOS in the box
odi mushies in grey and was thinking about dying them black.
would it work or would the heat distort the grips??

Hey Dwain - we had this topic a while ago and decided it couldn't be done via the normal methods (Dylon, boiling, etc). However someone suggested a rubber dye...must admit never tried it, but here's the thread:

I have tried a few techniques to turn different colour ODI grips to Black... including using Black Iron Oxide... no joy. The colourway has to be introduced into the rubber compound before the grips are injection moulded.
